Order of Labor Glory

The Order of Labor Glory was established in 1974 and was awarded awarded for labor achievement.  The order came in three classes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  By 1992, the following number of orders had been issued:  1st - 246; 2nd - about 50,000; and, 3rd - about 650,000.   The Comprehensive Guide to Soviet Orders and Medals, Paul McDaniel and Paul J. Schmitt, page 203. 

The following 2nd and 3rd class orders were issued to the same Estonian lady for outstanding labor achievement.

The 2nd class Order Labor Glory had a blue background and was gold plated.  The 2nd class ribbon had two broad red stripes inside a yellow band.  The 1st class Order had a red background and a single red stripe.

Both of these Orders were issued to the same lady.  The third class order, No. 105835, was issued in 1978, and the 2nd class Order, No. 25502, was issued in 1985.
